Improving thought management, emotion regulation and overall mental fitness is the focus of my practice. I team up with individuals and identify possible barriers to achievement, develop plans to facilitate positive achievement.
I get motivated developing strategies to increase life management skills, manage thought process, regulate emotions, improve overall functioning and performance. I help you discover clues related to this question, “why do I do what I do?” This insight increases awareness/understanding of symptoms. Reduced symptoms creates more emotional space available allowing new, positive coping strategies…creating a desire for more “discovery”…more space…more positive outcomes…and the upward spiral begins.
I have found my work with people as counselor is most effective when it becomes something of a rhythm in your life; not just until dysfunctional patterns dissipate, not just until positive outcomes occur periodically…it’s when you wake up and realize your healthy emotions are leading to a healthy life.
